Guangdong Nanmei Group was established in 1994. We are a hi-tech enterprise, authorized by the National General Press Department and the National Foreign Economic and Trade Department, dealing with Research and Development of laser digital storage discs, as well as making and duplicating video and audio products. Our subsidiaries are Nanmei Electronics Industrial Co., Ltd., Hongtu Video & Audio Publishing Co., Ltd., Hongtu Electronics Publication Wholesale Center Co., Ltd., Shantou Hongtu Video & Audio Publishing Co., Ltd., Jincheng Computer Software Co., Ltd and Shantou Xinhua Printing Factory.
Since our establishment, Nanmei Group has insisted on pursuing the best quality products, and meeting customers' demands as its business purpose. We have also followed the business philosophy of "Sincerity, Strive, Creativity and the Pursuit of Excellence". Nanmei uses "Employee Respect and Qualified Staff" as our management policy. We rely on our strengths to develop both domestic and overseas markets. In 2002, Nanmei Group invested USD 62.5 million to set up a manufacturing base called Nanmei Technological Park, which combines producing, R&D and exhibition of video and audio products.
The total land area is 40,000 square meters, and the total building area is 80,000 square meters, the most advanced production lines for multi-layer and high-density disk DVDs, read-in CD-Rs, DVD-Rs, and basic CDs. In total 84 lines have been introduced into the company. Our production output will be 300million pieces, with an annual production value of USD 100 million. Our compact disc production base will be one of the largest in China.
Nanmei Group relies on technology to make progress. The re-writeable CD-RWs researched by our company were listed as the 2001 National Level Torch Planned Project. We have been honored with numerous awards including: Advanced Private Enterprise, The Large-Scale Taxpaying Enterprise, and the Good Contract Credit Unit. We are the first company to gain ISO9001 certification in the CD manufacturing industry in Guangdong (in 2001), and we finally gained ISO14001 certification in 2004.
