Zhejiang Shengxiao Chemicals Co., Ltd. is largest scale provincial high-tech production enterprise mainly operating hydroxybenzoic acid and nipagin ester products, which once drafted National Standards about Food Preservative Ethyl Nipagin Ester (Ethyl Hydroxybenzoate) and Nipogin Propyl Ester and specially manufactures synthesis sodium nipagin ester, isopropyl p-hydroxybenzoate and isobutyl p hydroxybenzoate. In addition, we can offer medicinal intermediate pmethoxybenaoic acid (anisic acid) and raw materials for daily chemicals, such as Zinc pyridine-2-thiol-N-oxide, PM and phenoxyethanol, etc.
Founded in 1987, the output of our leading products continuously ranks first in Chinese market. In 2004, Shengxiao was approved as Zhejiang High-tech Enterprise. P-hydroxybenzoic acid and sodium p-hydroxybenzoate were listed as High-tech Product and 2004 National Key New Products Plan respectively. In 2006, ethyl hydroxybenzoate was recertified Drug Production License and Drug Production Registration Certificate. We drafted National Standards about Food Preservative Ethyl Nipagin Ester (Ethyl Hydroxybenzoate) and Nipogin Propyl Ester which implemented in December 2005.
Our products are mainly applicable to preservative in foodstuff, drug and cosmetic, among which, the annual production capacity of leading product p-hydroxybenzoic acid has reached 8,000 tons. As the largest manufacturer in China, we received import and export authority in 1997. What’s more, 80% of our products are sold well in more than 30 countries and regions, such as U.S.A, Japan, Korea, Israel, Europe, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. Therefore, we have topped first among Quzhou foreign trade companies.
With diversified development of international market and coming of the age of high technology, we are turning into diversification development and enlarging economic power step by step. In order to expand development scale, attract talents and offer high-quality products, the Provincial Enterprise Technique Center and Zhejiang Shengxiao Food Addictive Research & Development Center have been established by us. With our general manager as their director, they are governing four teams, including New Product Development Team, Technique Introduction Team, Technical Innovation Team and Information Research Team.
