Zhejiang Linan Bentonite Chemical Factory(Zhe jiang linan bentonite chemical general factory) is 30 kilometers far away from Hangzhou, lieing besides the Tianmu Mountain. Founded in 1984,our factory is a key manufacturer of bentonite series products and contains 35000 square meters, of which building area is 19980 square meters. There is a staff of 280 persons, including a technical staff of 36 persons. The fixed assets amount to more than 15 million yuan RMB. Our yearly active argil output can reach 10000tons; the organobentonite yearly output comes up to 300 tons. We have a strong technology development group, and we are one of the drafter of active argil and grain argil trade standard.

Recently, with the efforts of all cadre and technicians, our factory has achieved a great progress. After the technology innovation and management upgrade, we improved the manufacturing techniques and equipment of active argil in 1987, thus the boosted the products quality and reduced the cost, which have assured the success in market competition, and our developed techniques have been adopted by many bentonite manufacturers.

In 1993, we developed the new type organobentonite based on the calcium bentonite with the cooperation of Beijing Oil science academy, which has greatly boosted the utility value of calcium bentonite. And the project has won the China landification Company Science and technology progress Award. Then our factory had the capacity of manufacturing the active argil series products, grain argil series products and organobentonite series products.

In these years, sticking to the reform and opening policy and strength of the management, we have made more progress in manufacture and management. In 1998, we successfully passed Hangzhou Taihu drainage area water pollution enterprise contamination drainage examination. In 2000, we got the ISO9002 quality system certificate and have been certified to the modified version of ISO9000:2000.
